  13. I have tried to compile the new web2c distribution.
  14. First I ran configure, then I modified the paths
  15. in the kpathsea/Makefile. Then I ran make at the top level.
  16. However, the new paths don't seem to have been taken 
  17. into account everywhere. How can I manage to change
  18. everywhere the various paths defined in kpathsea/Makefile
  19. but only modifying kpathsea/Makefile (for instance) ?
  20.  
  21. I don't know whether these things are related, but at the
  22. compilation--without changing the paths--I can only
  23. generate initex, virtex and inimf, but not virmf. There
  24. seems to be a X11 library problem.
